Product Detail
This fitting is used to quickly and easily repair leaks in PVC Pipe. Simply cut out the section of pipe with the leak, and glue the expansion coupling onto one exposed end of the pipe. Then, pulling on the expansion coupling, expand it and attach it to the other end of exposed pipe with a standard coupling. Complete instructions are included with each expansion repair coupling. This fitting collapses to 7" in length (with a standard coupling added to spigot end) and expands to 9" in length.

I used one of these to repair a buried pipe that had been hit by a post hole digger. It was super easy to use and I didn't have to dig up a lot of the pipe in order to fit it in.
