Welcome to PVCFittingsDirect.com. Our site is simple and easy to use. The following tips and suggestions will help you navigate our site:
Browsing: You can browse our inventory by clicking on a Category in the left side column or in the center section of the home page. Click on the sub-categories to browse to specific types of fittings. Once you have located the item you want you can add it to your "Shopping Cart" by entering a quantity in the Qty box and clicking the “Add To Cart” button. Want to choose multiple items at once? Enter quantities for several items and click the "Add Multiple Items To Cart" button to add them all at once. Don’t worry if you are unsure of something, you can always change quantities or remove items from your cart later prior to checking out.
Quick Product Finder: Located in the left side column, use this powerful tool to find just the fitting you want, or see all the fittings in a certain size or style. Use the convenient pull down menus to narrow down your search in any way you wish. It is best to start with the top pull down menu and work your way down. Choose Schedule 40 from the first pull down menu and the system will display all of our schedule 40 fittings (27 pages of them!). You could look through all of these one page at a time, but a better way is to choose the type of fitting from the second pull down menu. Choose Caps and the system will now display all of our Schedule 40 Caps (22 of them). You can now either choose the specific fitting from the list or you can refine your search even further by selecting from the Type or Size from the bottom two pull down menus. Make a choice from all 4 pull down menus to choose a specific fitting, or just from one pull down menu to see all the fittings that match that choice. For example, if you know that you need a fitting to go from 4” to 2”, you can choose “4 inch x 2 inch” from the Size pull down menu and the system will display the 5 fittings that we have that meet this requirement. This is a very powerful tool for finding just the fitting you need.
Search Our Products: Located at the top of the page, you can use this convenient search box to search by:
Keyword (Which searches our product titles and descriptions)
Part Number
Category (Schedule 40, Schedule 80, Nipples, etc.)
Type (Tee, Coupling, Elbow, etc.)
Style (Slip, Fipt, Mipt, Slip x Slip, etc.)
Size (1", 3/4", 1/2", etc.)
Part Number Search: Enter a part number into the search box at the top of the page to go directly to the fitting you need. Another handy way to use this feature is to enter just the first 3 numbers of the part number to see all the fittings in that category. For example, entering 405- will give you all the Schedule 40 Tees in Fipt x Fipt x Fipt configuration.
Shopping Cart: After you add an item to the your shopping cart, click the “Continue Shopping” button to return to the previous page. As you add items to your cart you will see the Shopping Cart Summary updated at the top of the page. This tells you at a glance how many items you have selected and the total cost of the items. You can click on the Shopping Cart link at any time to return to the cart and begin the checkout process. You can change quantities or add/remove items in your cart as much as you like. Once you have finished adding items to your cart you can begin the checkout process by clicking the “Checkout Now” button.
Reorders: Our website saves a complete history of your previous orders, which makes reordering easy. You can view your history by logging into your account and going to the "One Touch Reorder" section. You can view your history by order or by products, and use the convenient "reorder" buttons to add items to your cart.
Checkout: To complete you purchase you must enter you contact information by signing up as a customer of PVCFittingsDirect.com. This is a quick and easy process that you only need to go through the first time you place an order with us. You will be prompted to enter your name, address, phone number, shipping address and other information necessary to process your order. Your privacy is very important to us so we will never share your personal information or email address with anyone. Once you have completed the sign up process you will receive a confirmation email that includes your login name and password. You do not need to login to shop or search our inventory, but by logging in you will have access to your previous order history. And when you go through the checkout process the next time, all of your information will be pre filled for you, saving you valuable time.
