Flange Installation Data Back to Flanges
Proper installation of a flange can be made easier with the help of installation data. The following includes important points, a torque sequence chart and a bolt information table. We hope that you find this data both convenient and helpful in properly completing your project.
Important points
1. Recommended Gaskets: full face, 1/8" thick elastomeric, 50-70 Shore A hardness.
2. Bolt threads should be well lubricated.
3. Nut and bolt threads should be free running during assembly.
4. Follow illustrated bolt tightening sequence.
5. Always use full size flat washers with bolts and nuts.
