PVC Insert Fittings

Insert Fittings are made of the same substances as Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 PVC fittings and provide a similar service, just in a slightly different way. Insert Fittings are used to connect to PVC Flexible Pipe, "Funny” Pipe, or Rubber Hose, but instead of simply using a slip or threaded fitting to slide or thread onto a pipe, one "inserts” the barbed or insert tip into the pipe itself and secures it with a Hose Clamp. When properly clamped, the insert tips will create a seal within the pipe that makes them air and water tight.
